First US 3 Wheeler at Great British Run

13/09/2012

The Manhattan Motorsports Morgan 3 Wheeler, the first US specification model in the States, acted as the pace car for the 6km run, hosted by the British Consul-General on 31st May, 2012 in New York’s Central Park. With a thoroughly British feel, as the event celebrated both Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee and the British Olympics, over 1,000 people participated. Gideon Lang-Laddie of Manhattan Motorsports helped celebrate all things British by displaying a classic Royal Blue Morgan 4/4 as well as the 3 Wheeler. In keeping with British “Great” campaign, the 3 Wheeler was decorated with the “Britain is GREAT” decals and as large of a Diamond Jubilee motif as could possibly fit on the front of a 3 Wheeler. With Kim Cattrall, of ‘Sex In The City’ fame as the honorary guest, the Morgan 3 Wheeler led the field as the pace car to rapturous applause proving that it is not just Britain that is Great, but Morgan also.
